About HYCF.Since 1981, Latino educators and leaders in the Southeast Wisconsin area have been working in collaboration with Gateway Technical College, Marquette University, Milwaukee Area Technical College, University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and Waukesha County Technical College to hold the annual Hispanic Youth Career Fair (HYCF).
The goal of the HYCF is to expose Latino high school students to career and post-secondary educational opportunities, and to ultimately enter the workforce as skilled professionals. As such, college and university representatives will be present at the conference to meet with students to discuss college admissions, funding college, and preparing for career goals. HYCF also brings dynamic keynote speakers and presenters, who can serve as role models in their respective profession for Latino youth. In 2024, the Hispanic Youth Career Fair will be held at Gateway Technical College. The conference is free for high school students. We believe that Hispanic high school students in southeastern Wisconsin will greatly benefit from the 42nd Annual HYCF and we strongly encourage your student to attend. Sincerely, 2024 Planning Committee Hispanic Youth Career Fair |
